Dear Daufuskie Island Residents, Property Owners, and Customers,

Below is additional information to follow our letter from December 26th. You can read the December 26th letter HERE.

FOR THOSE PARKED AT BUCKINGHAM LANDING
We have spoken to a Beaufort County representative and they have agreed to a 10-day grace period regarding moving vehicles from Buckingham Landing by January 1st.

FOR THOSE PARKED AT TANGER 2
We have spoken to Tanger Outlets management and they have agreed to a 7-day grace period regarding moving overnight vehicles from Tanger 2 by January 1st.

REGARDING PARKING AT CC HAIG BOAT LANDING
The County has also confirmed that the parking lot will be opened early tomorrow morning, December 28th for residents. Please park to the right, near the palmetto trees in the rock area. Resident parking passes are available from the parking attendants at Buckingham Landing. Please be sure to pick up your pass when you move your vehicle to identify it as resident parking. Complimentary shuttle service will be available 10 AM – 4 PM Thursday, December 27th through Saturday, December 30th.

As of January 16, 2024, we are no longer under contract with Beaufort County to provide ferry services. We are not accepting reservations at this time.
